"The interaction between IT and business – the ideal and the reality"

The effective interaction between the IT department and the management of a company, as well as the users from business units is necessary for the successful implementation of any IT project. A survey of CIO Magazine, conducted in February 2014 among IT managers at companies in various industries, shows that IT departments and business units achieve better interaction at a growing number of organizations. However, 55% of the respondents believe that it is necessary to improve the communication between their IT departments, business units and management.
