According to GovCERT Bulgaria at the Executive Agency Electronic Communication Networks and Information Systems, over 1300 alerts for hacker attacks from 32 732 Internet addresses in the Bulgarian Internet space have been processed during the first seven months of 2014. Society and businesses pay more attention to data security and storage, to the necessity of contemporary measures in this sphere and its financing. It is an enormous asset to have information, but if somebody gets it or uses it illegally, the problems become colossal. Information security and the fight with cybercrimes require not only alliance between technological solutions, but also between different practices and this is the way the battle can be won.
The conference is organized by ICT Media and ISACA-Sofia Chapter for the 14th consecutive year and traditionally is supported by the Ministry of Transport, Information Technologies and Communications, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Defense and State Agency National Security.
