In the end of 2015 we became witness of changes, caused by the necessity to stimulate the development of e-Government, to improve the investment climate and the environment and to provide better administrative services to the citizens. The administration of the Council of Ministers announced the establishment of an E-government State Agency and of a Single System Operator state enterprise. What will be the benefits of the creation of this new agency, what to expect in e-Government in 2016, what are the priorities, these are only some of the questions, which the 17th conference on e-Government will focus on.
The 16th edition of the conference was held under the patronage of the Deputy Prime Minister for Coalition Policy and Public Administration and Minister of Interior, Rumiana Bachvarova, and with the traditional partnership of the Ministry of Transport, IT and Communications; the National Association of Municipalities in Bulgaria; the Network of Associations of Local Authorities in South Eastern Europe. The target audience of the conference are ministers, deputy ministers, chief secretaries and IT managers of administrative institutions, regional governors, mayors, deputy mayors and municipal chief secretaries, consultants, and representatives of donor organizations.
